The Nature Pole of the Asinerie du Baudet du Poitou is a place of breeding and discovery of the oldest breed donkey Baudet du Poitou. Located on the edge of the forest, close to Dampierre-sur-Boutonne, the Asinerie offers many activities for all: free or guided tours by reservation, playful rides on donkeys, carriage rides (accessible for people mobility), hiking and picnics with a donkey and many other activities. This year, take advantage of our novelty, the gourmet carriage ride, to spend a pleasant day in Dampierre-sur-Boutonne. On the program: guided tour of the Asinerie, catering meal served in a carriage that will take you to the Renaissance castle to discover during his visit and finally return to the Asinerie in hitch.
