This week, I went to discover the exhibition-photos " Discovered by Niort and by the Swamp from Poitou ".
Pierre Viala, enthusiast of photos, started its activity approximately two years ago around the Green Venice. His first exhibition was visible on the party of the Ash tree-tadpole of Amuré, the symbolic tree of the swamp.
In this exhibition dedicated to the natural and cultural heritage of " Green Venice ", you can discover about fifty pictures of various sizes sublimating the valley of the Sèvre niortaise.
A series of photos is dedicated in Niort, the donjon, the Halles and the dragon with its legends.
The place is also worth seeing, because the space of exhibition is situated within the former chapel, the probably former residence of the Younger sisters of the Poor people.
His photos are taken for the greater part since the water; indeed, kayaker since decade, Pierre Viala likes having a walk on this territory canoé, by bicycle or on foot.
To discover this beautiful exhibition, you have until March 4th. Then, do not wait any more! It is free, in free, open access every day, from 10 am till 5 pm, in the residence of Angélique.
If the exhibition pleases you, you have the possibility of leaving an appreciation in the visitors' book and if you wish to go farther and you get one of its photos, it is possible.
All the exposed photos are available in command on the size which you wish!
For his next project, Pierre Viala dashed in association with two men: Romain Gaillard and Bernard Martineau in the publication of a book " The Swamp from Poitou, the views of yesterday and today " containing former postcards and photographic representations of the swamp. Its exit is planned for spring. You can find it on various markets this summer.
