The Tops of the tourism in Deux-Sèvres 2015

Experience Julien - Animateur web By Julien - Animateur web, the 10 April 2015

The trophies of the Tops of the tourism 79 took place last week in Acclameur. After Saint Mesmin's castle, “Les P’tits amoureux” and the Holiday cottage La Grenouille in 2014, 2 of our partners were rewarded for the edition 2015. Congratulations thus to The “Ambassade du Cacao” and to “Mogettes & Cie” who obtained the Top of the tourism in the categories "tourism and communication" and "tourism and region”. A beautiful award for these tourist actors who give life to the Deux-Sèvres department ! Let’s start the introductions.

The “Ambassade du Cacao”… and Deux-Sèvres

The “Ambassade du Cacao”, that’s 2 addresses in Niort (street Victor Hugo) and in Coulon (street of the port of Brouillac, within The Dairy). It is thus twice as easy to taste chocolates, biscuits and freeze which makes Tony Suaud, the manager. In Coulon, it is even possible to visit a "small museum" and to participate to workshops ! Real defender of the regional products, Tony Suaud tries to highlight the angelica, the symbolic plant of the Marais poitevin, in his recipes. And on the side of the communication, the faithful mascot Toto Cacao around shows, local animations, school animations to promote the know-how of his craftsman chocolate maker. We did not stop hearing about Tony and Toto !

Mogettes & Cie, the Made in Deux-Sèvres shop

Deux-Sèvres is everywhere ! In Elisabeth Deliry's shop (street Sainte-Marthe), we find only products made in the department. Since June, 2014, if you wish a souvenir or a present stamped "79", you are sure to find what you need in “Mogettes & Cie” shop. Angélique, traditional white beans (of course), honey of Thorigné, leather bags of Laurige, T-shirt with head of goat designed in Airvault… And many others ! Elisabeth is not in lack of ideas because she reflects to market a snowball with the Niort Donjon inside. And then, to be known and made known her products, she organizes animations from time to time. “Mogettes & Cie” is a very beautiful display for the know-how deux-sévrien.
